http://www.dictionary.com/cgi-bin/dict.pl?term=since There was a question about what the phrase "since your last turn" means on the card Compel The Spirit. From www.dictionary.com, it would mean "During the period subsequent to the time when" when used as a conjuction. In other words, "since [the end of] your last turn". Not, "since [the beginning of] your last turn". Of course, the English language is so flexible, the term can also be used as a preposition to include the time: prep. Continuously from: "They have been friends since childhood." So, "since your last turn [including during that turn]". Might we have some clarification as to the intent of the card? Carpe Noctem. Correct. An event that happened on your last turn doesn't qualify as "since your last turn". > Might we have some clarification as to the intent of the card? No info on intent is available. I asked this last year, when I was making Cardano's Crony Cavalcade. 4 Cardano, 4 Rudolpho Giovanni, 4 Muaziz. Outcast Mages, Thadius Zho, Ambrosius the Ferryman, Talbot's Chainsaw. Pool gain, Freak Drives, and Compels. Dead allies repeat no actions, so it's legit to bleed with Thadius, have him blocked and killed, Compel him out, and bleed with him again. No decklisting posted, since it sucked yak. Proportions were likely off. Any brave soul who wants to try to pull it off is welcome to the notion. gomi -- Individually, I love you all with affection unspeakable; but, collectively, I look upon you with a disgust that amounts to absolute detestation.

Your current turn is not your last turn, and events that happen during your current turn are certainly "since your last turn." -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) VTES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. But you can have a ruling. :-) I forget if I know this already (or if it's obvious, which it probably is, or ought to be). But: Is "on my current turn" part of "since your last turn"? Seems like it should be, and I've probably assumed it was in the past. Josh not a very compelling spirit [ quoted text not captured ]
