Saxum's special text says "Camarilla Tremere Slave." Even though the gargoyles are in general Independant, if they are a camarilla slave or a sabbat slave, does that make them part of that sect? I assume so since it doesn't specify Independant on the card text.

[ quoted text not captured ] Card text applies, yes. See also: Lucita et al. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Links to revised rulebook, rulings, errata, and tournament rules: http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/

He's Camarilla and he's a Tremere Slave. The slave rule works only on clan, not on sect. [ quoted text not captured ]

Thanks. The only reason I asked is that usually there is a colon after the Sect designation, which is not present here. Didn't know if you meant that Saxum is a Camarilla and beyond that a Slave to the regular Tremere or if you meant they were slaves to the Camarilla Tremere. Thanks again for the clarification. Well I'm pretty sure that most of the gargoyles will either be "Camarilla Tremere Slave," "Sabbat Tremere Antitribu Slave," or "Independent." And a Sabbat Tremere (who equipped a make-believe Sabbat version of Writ) would still count as a Tremere (for the Tremere Slave) and a Camarilla Tremere Antitribu will still count as Tremere Antitribu (for the Tremere Antitribu Slave). I think the first part (Camarilla/Sabbat) tells you the sect of the gargoyle (not what the master needs to be). Halcyan 2

Halcyan 2

>AAbt kindred are de facto Nefertiti slaves (or was kemintiri? you >never got an eldb around when you need it) Well, not exactly. Aabt Kindred can't Malleable Visage for Nefertiti (and there's a difference). Yes, Nefertiti and Kemintiri are both 4th gen Followers of Set (both sired by Set himself). Keminitir is just kick-ass! She's number one on the red list for assassinating a previous Ventrue Justicar and taking his place (and she successfully masqueraded as Ventrue Justicar for quite a while). You also knows Bardo (she can't remember whether she was originally a Children of Osiris set to infiltrate the Followers of Set or the other way around). A shame that time has had its toll on her sanity (amnesia and personality problems). In any case, she's not exactly a team player when it comes to her plan (doesn't really care much 'bout the "clan."). In Jyhad/VTES Kemintiri isn't that great (but she's still cool). She has a simply wonderful picture by Ken Meyer Jr. and a pretty cool discipline spread (aus dom OBF PRE SER THA is nothing to sneeze at!). Her special's a bit weak though. Appropriate for the backstory But not that useful. What's she going to do if she decides to attack a Ventrue? And she even has the penalty that she can get attacked back! But Keminitir is still cool! Nefertiti is also a 4th gen Setite. She's in Berlin By Night. She was originally a princess that was embraced by Set. Unlike Kemintiri, she actually does her best to serve her master. Working with a bane mummy and her Aabt "slaves," she attempts to seize control of Berlin by throwing the city into chaos with a "false Caine" (Ankla Hotep). Unfortunately, despite her Methusaleh intellect, she still manages to do the whole "tell the good guys her entire plan since they're going to die anyway" thing. And Samat shows up to save the PC's and they have to stop "Caine" themselves, or get Tremere super-Justicar Karl Schrekt to do it for them. In any case, in Jyhad/VTES Nefertiti is pretty vicious too (but then again, Nefertiti was FN and Keminitir was AH, which explains things). The picture (by Lawrence Snelly) is also extremely lovely. In fact, I'd have to argue that the Followers of Set has the best female vamps (with Aisha, Keminitir, and Nefertiti). Mmmm... Well back to the topic. As a FN vamp, Nefertiti gets some more points. Can't do too much with cel DOM OBF pot PRE SER. The Dominate of course works quite well if the other Setities. But Celerity isn't particularly scary on a Setite and all the Potence is likely to do is shatter some Meat Hooks. Interestingly enough though, Intisar, Nefertiti, and Sutekh all have cel pot (in addition to superiors for all in-clans). In addition, Nefertiti's corruption special has been waited for for quite some time. And then top it off with a bleed bonus. Quite nice. Okay, I think I got off on a tangent. But to conclude, while Keminitiri and Nefertiti are both lovely ladies, you shouldn't be getting them confused!!! =) Halcyan 2

Halcyan 2

[ quoted text not captured ] Camille is nice of course (though it's sort of cheating - copying from a Victoria's Secret catalog and all!) However, Raven isn't really all that. I guess Tura and Dolphin have...a lot of cleavage we'll say, but overall they are quite disgusting! Dolphin's too demented and weird lookin' and Tura's just plain scary... Still deciding on Kalinda though... =) Halcyan 2

Don't forget Stanislava, Arika, Genevieve, Anneke, Nakova, and Cassandra! =) Halcyan 2

>Would it be terribly inappropriate for me to mention Salinger here? Or >Lazverinus? I'll have to admit that Salinger is quite good-looking (for a guy, of course. Perhaps, like Melisande, Salinger's a real person?). But I have to re-iterate that despite his hand damage, Lazverinus looks too much like a pansy! I'll also have to give kudos to Caliban, Gillespi, Samat, and our dear friend Smudge! Maybe Jost too... See also: Lucita et al. i bet i am hell late on this, but.... from the image of the vampire, it looks like "camarilla" is in bold, and "tremere slave" is in non-bold. therefore, the vampire is camarilla, and he needs a tremere out to take D actions. whether that tremere is camarilla or not is irrelevant. (note that tremere is a clan, not a sect. and thus a tremere anti with a writ of acceptance is still a tremere anti, he is just in the camarilla for some reason, for the case where you might see "SABBAT Tremere antitribu slave") salem.
