[LSJ] query: Burn blood effects on some cards

OK this came up in a game just finished. An empty justicar (sheldon) used a 2nd tradition to untap and block. Is this possible? As far as I can go over this he could as empty vampires ignore all burn blood effects. However if this were so then this would also imply that an empty vampire with sup. FOR could use the SUP effect of Rolling with the Punches. Could it be possible that there should be a distiction in the ruling? Forced Awakening can be used by an empty vamp and an empty vampire can block Donall O'Connell, but an empty Prince cannot use the 2nd tradition. I dunno. Basically, is the burn blood on the second tradition and rolling with the punches a cost that must be payed or is it by all means a regular burn blood effect, like FA? Thankz, Tim Eijpe

Yes. Also note that due to different wording, an empty vampire may attempt to block Donal O'Connor but that same empty vampire cannot attempt to block Giotto Verducci. Halcyan 2
