Questions on Soul Burn and Hidden Lurker

Greetings everyone, A couple of questions on these two cards have come up in our last few games. Please advise: [1] Hidden Lurker: I know this card is now played as an action modifier instead of an action. The V:TES wording does not mention anything about tapping the Hidden Lurker vamp, since tapping was part of the "action". When using the card as an action modifier, does the Lurking minion tap? If not, can a *tapped* minion be the Lurker, a la Cloak The Gathering? [2] Hidden Lurker: When used, the blocking minion can not use any strikes in the first round of combat. Does this also preclude the blocking minion from using a weapon's maneuver? [3] Soul Burn: The relevant text of this card states: "For the remainder of this round, the opposing minion cannot inflict damage with weapons". Let's say that minion A strikes with a .44 Magnum and minion B strikes with Soul Burn. Would Soul Burn only affect *additional strikes* of the gun, or is this initial gun strike negated as well? I think that the initial gun strike would still do damage, as the strikes resolve simultaneously. The phrase "remainder of this round" implies to me strikes that happen *after* Soul Burn is used. What if, somehow, Soul Burn was delivered with First Strike? (I'm not sure if that can be done, just asking for argument's sake.) Then, I think that the gun's initial strike would fizzle. Sorry if I'm answering my own questions, but I'd be happy to have some expert commentary on these. Thanks in advance! Eric Tullis

It has errata to make it function like the Jyhad version would have functioned if the Jyhad version had been printed with a action modifier symbol: The modifying vampire must be untapped. The modifying vampire is tapped. > [2] Hidden Lurker: When used, the blocking minion can not use any > strikes in the first round of combat. No strike-based maneuvers are possible for the blocker. > [3] Soul Burn: The relevant text of this card states: "For the > remainder of this round, the opposing minion cannot inflict damage > with weapons".
