The Leatherface of Detroit

Hullo, me again with another question. Leatherface says that he cannot equip (ect.) but I think it would be fun to give him a chainsaw. I'm sure there are ways of doing this (Disguised Weapon and all)... but my question, is it considered an "Equip" Action if another minion Equips a Chainsaw and then Leatherface taps to take it from them? He cannot have or use equipment or retainers. As a (D) action, Beast can enter combat with any Ready minion controlled by another Methuselah. +1 hand damage." [RTR 19980623] So he can't even have equipment let alone use it. Though I guess if you disputed territory a loquipment to him then he could use it as it is no longer equipment.
