I was wondering after one of your big fat spell of life mummies hits the ash heap can you play Redeem on it?

Yes*, the card in your ash heap is a vampire in your ash heap. *Unless the card isn't a vampire in your ash heap -- for example, if your Embrace vampire were Banished and then Spell of Lifed and then burned.
