All right... Time to pull out the Assault Rifles again... Of course,
they might issue a new stance that somehow negates this combo.

Glad to hear it.
Also, according to the Vampire RPG this power cannot send a
vampire to Torpor or kill anyone. I think this should
be used to prohibit ammo cards being used with the weapon.
Of course flamethrower should still be allowed, simply to
keep it simple.
What do you think?

Could you post the comment that says this.
I remmber seeing a post that said it wouldn't go back to the
Library if destroyed or stolen, but I read that as it goes
to your asheap.

Hmm. OK. Guess I should check my sources a little more thoroughly. :-)
You're right (mostly). It goes to your ash heap or is re-shuffled
(as appropriate to the skill of the minion playing HR), regardless
of where it is so long as it is in play. If it is not in play
(was burned), then it is not burned or re-shuffled - it simply
remains burned.

If the weapon is no longer in play at end of combat, do not burn it
(or shuffle it into your library). Otherwise, it is burned or shuffled
as appropriate.

Looks like there was a miscommunication, probably from this reply of mine:
----
>>If the weapon is no longer in play at end of combat, do not burn it
>>(or shuffle it into your library). Otherwise, it is burned or shuffled
>>as appropriate.>Does this apply to stolen weapons as well?
Yes.
----
The "yes" was trying to say that if the weapon is stolen during the
combat, it is still burned or shuffled as appropriate. Sorry if this was
unclear.

Because if you have played V:TM at all you should know that korrid
reality is just that an illusion and nothing more. So to allow people to
keep the weapons in Jyhad just does not fit with what the power is.

I think his remark was sarcasm; as far as I know, LSJ's not a supporter
of game-unbalancing. [I still think the card should have been reshuffled
even if it was burned or stolen, though...]

The inferior version burns the weapon at the end of the combat: the
superior version of Horrid Reality allow is to be shuffled back into the
deck at the end of combat.
Scott's comments were based on a mis-parsing of a Tom Wylie answer;
someone asked a question and Tom (seemed to say) that the weapon was _not_
burned/reshuffled if it was not in the possession of the vampire who
played the HR at the end of combat, when in fact the weapon is
burned/shuffled no matter what its status at the end of combat.
FWIW, I read the reply Tom gave and came to the same conclusion about
what Tom had said as did Scott...
