After superior IG on the following round, are you allowed to play 'before range' cards, as the IG has already set the range? My playgroup decided against and since I couldn't find a ruling to refute them.. - Ron -

Any time the "determine range" is skipped (due to Storm Sewers, Immortal Grapple, Cailean, whatever), you still get to play "before range" cards before the "choose strike" step. This ruling was first made (for the specific case of Storm Sewers) in RTR 09-NOV-1994. -- LSJ (vte...@wizards.com) VTES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast.
