Malkavian Prank [Jyhad, V:TES]
Cardtype: Master
Clan: Malkavian
Master.
Each {other} Methuselah holds between 1 and 4 pool in his or her hand.
Guess the amount of pool in each Methuselah's hand. Each time you
guess correctly, you gain that {much pool from his or her pool}. If
you guess incorrectly, that Methuselah gains that much pool from the
blood bank.
from what i understand, each other meth holds out 2-3 pool because the
card states: ...BETWEEN 1-4...that means 2-3 right? so if someone
plays a prank i can only hold out 2-3 pool not 1-4 pool as some
players are saying here in our local play group...need clarification
for an upcoming tourny thanks

BETWEEN doesn't inherently exclude the end values.
Each other Methuselah holds from 1 to 4 pool in her hand.
If it had meant 2-3, it would would've been written to say so ("holds
2 or 3 pool").

A related question, do the counters come from the Meth's actual pool? If I
only have 2 pool left then I can only choose 1 or 2?

Blood bank, can hold 1,2,3, or 4 counters. If they hold 4 are guessed at
4 and have 2pool they are ousted.
BTW all guesses happen then all loss/gain of pool happen. Simultanous
oustings are handled normally. A -> B -> C -> D, B and C get ousted, A
gets 1 VP and 6 pool, B gets 1VP, C gets ousted.
Must rebuild that market madness deck. (malk time auction, lucian and
TotGP) with assorted random stuff.

I've been trying to think up something similar myself, been trying to think
of what I can Malk Time Auction that doesn't cost pool that ppl would want.
Progeny was one thing that sprang to mind. The other deck I was thinking of
was a Malk Prank, Game of Malkav, Parity Shift deck.

BETWEEN is an English word. It means nothing in German, TTBOMK.
ZWISCHEN may indeed exclude the end points by convention in German;
I'll have to take your word on that.
That says nothing about what BETWEEN means, however. In English,
if one wishes to exclude the endpoints, one adds "exclusive" to
the construction ("inclusive" being the default).
For examples of BETWEEN usage (in English), see below:

Heh, I thought about stuff like that but when you do that, as much fun as it
is, it's not likely to happen more than once because ppl won't bid for fear
of getting shafted. Not that it wouldn't be fun to do it at least once.

Nice angle, what about with malk rider clause and anarch revolt? Vote to
get rid of the Anarch, hey my parity shift passes automatically.

Sorry, Didi and an auction, next turn a malk dementia a parthenon and
another auction (bib 0 for didi that time for some reason :( )
You also did understand why the TotGP were in the deck ;) Buy you preys
stuff and sell to everyone else.

There's also Kindred Restructure. The Anarchs should work well but I'm not
sure if they'd fit given that I'd probably have quite a few masters as it
is. I was thinking more "share the wealth" votes, like Party Shift and
Rumors, and Cryptic Rider. I've got 1 or 2 Malk Rider Clause atm so I'll
probably toss them in anyway.

Oh yeah, I was planning on some of that actioin :). Buy, slap, sell. A few
Graverobbing for oppourtunistic minion theft and sell. It'll be interesting
to play without any real combat defense and see if it's relative
inoffensiveness and dealing can keep it alive. Oh, oh, oh, I just thought of
something cool, put out a Millicent Smith and Time Auction her! When someone
buys her, after their next go their predator will have her. Millicent is
wonderful at stalling ppl's decks.

And getting cross table rushed for being an annoying Malkavian. :)
