from the online html card text (converted to plain text) Business Pressure [Jyhad:R2, VTES:R, Tenth:B] Cardtype: Action Modifier Discipline: Presence *Only usable during a referendum.* [pre] Each Methuselah can burn pool to gain votes during the resolution of this card (resolve this card before moving on). A Methuselah gains 2 votes for each pool he or she burns. *[PRE] As above, but you gain 3 votes for each pool you burn.* the actual 10th anniversary text has, at superior: "As above, but the methuselah gains 3 votes for each pool he or she burns" does this mean the online card text should have the erratery <> around it somewhere? cause it wasn't mentioned in the functional card text changes, and if it is as the 10th set words it, it's a bit wallpapery. salem domain:canberra http://www.geocities.com/salem_christ.geo/vtes.htm (replace "hotmail" with "yahoo" to email)

A misprint, apparently. Not a functional change. I'll update the card list with the bracketery stuff. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Not useless, but if you're not really shoveling around Voter Cap you're going to regret it -- and you give people a means to spend pool carelessly, which is not always in your best interest. Also, you have to watch out for things like KRC 3-1 on your prey, who always has the option to spend up to 2 pool against when you play this card. He may try to force you into a pool race against your predator, and while it sounds nice at first to say "screw it, i'll just let him take his spent pool", if the vote fails you can't voter cap no matter how much pool your prey spent. Dangerous game. I do like the card and have used it to good effect in the past, but I think you really have to be prepared to cover the cost. On the plus side, it allows a vote deck to more easily avoid table timeouts since the table may be spending their pool. (this is really just a test message; let's see if we notice that the content has been replaced with Folger's Crystals) -- Derek insert clever quotation here
