If one of my vampires plays burning touch at inferior valeren and my prey tries to block it with a Nocturn. If the Nocturn burns a blood to block is the action blocked and unsuccessful even though the Nocturn moved to the ashheap?

[ quoted text not captured ] Some ally with 1 life successfully blocks. Burning Touch causes the ally to lose the life. So the ally is burned. But the action was successfully blocked, so it is unsuccessful.
