Just a quick question: Methuselah A controls Millicent Smith. Methuselah B blocks a mandatory hunt action of Methuselah A's minion and wants to play Obedience to remain untapped. I am pretty confident that the Millicent effect occurs and there is no 'about to enter combat,' so Obedience cannot be played, but I ask for an official ruling just to be sure. Thanks, Jon Millicent Smith: During your discard phase, your predator takes control of Millicent. If the Methuselah controlling Millicent has any of his or her actioning vampires blocked, then Millicent and the acting vampire are burned without combat. Obedience: Only usable when this reacting vampire is about to enter combat with an acting younger vampire. Untap the acting vampire, do not tap this reacting vampire, and end the current action (and combat). The acting vampire cannot attempt the same action this turn. As above, but do not untap the acting vampire.

Millicent burns you without combat. Obediance is only usable when about to enter combat. You are never about to enter combat, so you can't play Obediance. Trust in thy self! Although i assume some other player in your group doubts your wisdom so you'd like to throw a Writ of LSJ at him regarding it....
