My vampire enter in combat with another and send him to torpor. After, still ready, I play Amaranth. In my influence phase, I influence the same vampire, contesting him. May Blood Hunt still be called on him? Thanks in advance for any reply! If it is not called immediately, it cannot be called at all. -- LSJ (vte...@wizards.com) VTES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast. May Blood Hunt > still be called on him? Vampire A (yours) sends Vampire B to torpor. You play Amaranth to burn Vamp B instead of sending him to torpor. The Blood Hunt on Vamp A must be called immediately, if it is to be called. There is no time for you to influence any minions. p.

Nothing affects contested vampires unless explicit card text says so. -- LSJ (vte...@wizards.com) VTES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast.
