Praxis solomon and contested vampires

Hello: I was wondering if praxis solomon can settle a vampire contesting, thanks for your help!

and another question, after calling the praxis solomon, if the referendum is succesful, the cards that i was contesting return after the referendum or in my next untap face?

The Praxis Solomon seems to require that the yielding happens at the end of the referdendum, but it doesn't specify special timing for you gaining control of the contested card, so your control should occur as normal, during your untap.
