I have two copies of Volker (or any other vamp that is not Dunn). One copy is controlled Another copy is in my Uncontrolled Region. Can I: 1, Take actions to put blood on the uncontrolled copy of this vampire (eg DOM Govern the Unaligned) a) where the action will not fill him to capacity b) where the action will fill him c) where the action will fill him past capacity 2. Use my Influence Phase Actions to put blood on him a) where this will not fill him to capacity b) where this will fill him c) where this will fill him past capacity (can't think why...) If he (the uncontrolled copy) has full capacity blood (or more) on him at the end of my influence phase (and the controlled copy is still controlled), does he come out, burn or just stay there? If you can't fill your vampire -how can anyone tell? A different question: If your Ravnos gets contested after taking Sensory Deprivation actions does that remove the SDs? Card text implies that it does but it seems a bit harsh.. then again SD is a bit harsh too...

Use my Influence Phase Actions to put blood on him > a) where this will not fill him to capacity Yes > b) where this will fill him Yes but see answer to this situation below > c) where this will fill him past capacity (can't think why...) Yes.. excess drains off at end on influence phase when vampire enter controlled region. (mandatory) > If he (the uncontrolled copy) has full capacity blood (or more) on him > at the end of my influence phase (and the controlled copy is still > controlled), does he come out, burn or just stay there? From section 7: "At the end of your influence phase any vampire in your uncontrolled region with a number of blood conters on him equal to (or more than) his capacity becomes controlled." However when you influence out a vampire that you control already the incoming copy of the vampire and all blood on him is burnt. > If you can't fill your vampire -how can anyone tell? Need more info... not sure what you are asking? Are you saying can I dump wads of blood on a vampire and pretend he's an inner circle to reduce my pool for some reason (such as a parity shift). You could but its cheating. > A different question: If your Ravnos gets contested after taking Sensory > Deprivation actions does that remove the SDs? [snip already answered contesty questions] >A different question: If your Ravnos gets contested after taking Sensory >Deprivation actions does that remove the SDs? Card text implies that it >does but it seems a bit harsh.. then again SD is a bit harsh too... Card text never says anything about removing the SD card. However, the effect of the SD card is ended as soon as the acting vampire leaves play. Such as when contested. And this will happen for any vampire with chim, not just Ravnos. :) salem domain:canberra http://www.geocities.com/salem_christ.geo/vtes.htm

Sensory Deprivation [DS:U2, FN:PR] Cardtype: Action [chi] (D) Burn any retainer or put this card on any ally. The minion with this card does not untap as normal during the untap phase as long as the acting vampire remains in play. [CHI]As above, but put this card on any vampire in play. If your vampire gets contested (as with any card that is contested), he/she leaves play, so any Sense Deps that vampire played are sent to the ash heap. Your fish Doctor, Dr. Fish

It's effect just ends when the acting vampire leaves play. The card still stays on the minion, it just does nothing (even if the acting vampire returns to play). Subtle difference, and only really important if using necromancy or other card recycling effects. (Goodnight Sweet Prince/Possession deck, anyone?). [ quoted text not captured ]
