If you were to drain all you vampires of blood in you master phase (eg Tribute to the Master), at what stage do they have to hunt? Can an action card be played first... eg I play Tribute that leaves 4 of my vamps bone dry. Can I play Media Influence at sup and restore them all, or do they have to hunt first? Any ideas? Minions that are empty of blood must hunt before any other minion takes an action. > Can an action card be played first... No. > I play Tribute that leaves 4 of my vamps bone dry. They have to hunt first. http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/rulebook.html 6.1.2 Hunt (+1 stealth) Any time during a Methuselah's minion phase that one of her ready untapped vampires is empty (and not otherwise prohibited from hunting), he must hunt immediately, before any other action is taken by any minion. (If there are two or more such vampires, then their hunt actions can be taken in whatever order the controller chooses.) What if I have an untapped, ready minion with no blood that has already acted that turn? Ex. I have a minion with 1 blood that takes an action, is blocked, plays Majesty and pays its last blood to untap. Is that minion Required to hunt? -Brian Reed On Wed, 05 Jul 2000 13:31:43 GMT, Noal McDonald <dhar...@my-deja.com> wrote: > hamd...@my-deja.com wrote: >> If you were to drain all you vampires of blood in you master phase >> (eg Tribute to the Master), at what stage do they have to hunt? > >Minions that are empty of blood must hunt before any other minion takes >an action. > >Any time during a Methuselah's minion phase that one of her ready [ quoted text not captured ]

However, if the action that they took at the start of the turn is to hunt already then, assuming you play with the No Repeat Actions rule (you really should), you would be ineligible to hunt for a second time during the same turn. -- James Coupe (Prince of Mercia, England) Vampire: Elder Kindred Network http://madnessnetwork.hexagon.net http://www.zephyr.org.uk

An empty minion can ONLY take hunt actions, regardless of NRA effects. Just forestalling the inevitable... Mark Shanewood Ancilla of Minneapolis (and occasional nitpicker)
