Hello! I have a problem with the card "Kiss of Ra". At inferior level, the vampire burns two blood before blocking. But if it is used at superior level, does the blocking vampire go to torpor before combat or after combat ? If he goes to torpor before combat, is the action still blocked or can the acting vampire continue with his action ? Thank you for answers. Thibaut Roulon.

There is no combat. The blocker burns the blood, or goes to torpor and the acting minion is blocked. Steve Bucy

Combat is never arrived at. The action modifier resolves immediately (always the case, barring card text otherwise), afterwords combat _would_ happen, were the vampire not in torpor (one cannot enter combat with a vampire in torpor). In case anyone else asks, this does not give the Kissing vampire the attempt to diablerize (no action to do so, no explicit card text) or play Amaranth (not in combat).
