LSJ- Some new questions: Carthage Remembered - If I have two in play, do my Brujah royalty receive +2 stealth? Innocent Bystander - When a vampire is burned off the top of the crypt, do we get to see what that vampire is? General Questions - If a Methuselah chose to, could they play with an open hand? Could they choose to show their hand continuously to only one other player? This happens all the time: someone else is playing with the Nosferatu who lets you look at the top card of your library/crypt/prey's library. I ask them what the card is. Can they announce what it is? Can they tell just me? Thanks as always for your replies. Chris -- Chris, Tammy and Alex ino...@ix.netcom.com "It was Thursday, November 19th. That meant have a baby at the Martin/Shorb residence... On the whole, Chris reflected, it couldn't have been a heck of a lot better." Castellino

Any questions posed to another player may be answered (truthfully or not) or ignored, unless the cards or the rules compel that player to respond. I believe that if the response is not made public, that I would issue a warning, were this a tounament I was judging... As always IANALSJ (at times, thankfully so...) Regards, R. Whether you believe them or not is another issue. They certainly couldn't show the card to you. Also, I don't think they can tell you individually. Players can make deals but everything must be done above board. No secret pacts. -- Robert Goudie rrgo...@earthlink.net http://madnessnetwork.hexagon.net

Yes, although the card is not in the ash heap (it is removed from the game) - cards removed from the game may be inspected just as cards in the ash heap can be. Also note that Innocent Bystander isn't played until the bleed is successful (card text), so the top vampire is removed (and can be inspected) immediately. > >General Questions - > >If a Methuselah chose to, could they play with an open > >hand? Players are free to talk as they wish, so long as they do not "misrepresent cards" or "misrepresent public information (pool totals, number of cards in library, and so on)" (DCI Rules, 1.3.6), and do not "use profanity" or act "beligerently" toward or "harass" otherplayer (1.3.7). I believe the "misrepresent cards" part means "misrepresent the effects (i.e., card text) of a named card or a card in play" and would not include misrepresenting the nature (names) of the cards in your hand (unless you are forced to play with an open hand, of course) or in your library (or in other players' hands or libraries, if you happen to have that knowledge). > As always IANALSJ (at times, thankfully so...) :-) -- L.
