Everyone can vote. Correct. "Real world" logic sometimes has to take a back seat to balance and ease of play. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. You're thinking of the vote as people walking down to a polling booth and handing over a voting card. The whole point is that this isn't what happens. Vampires have an exploit their own power and influence, subtly manipulating everything that goes on. So, I have a little Camarilla weenie under my power, blood-bonded, but I'm a Sabbat Archbishop. With a few well-placed commands, I can have things go my way in the Camarilla, even if just a little, without drawing so much attention to myself, say. -- James Coupe | PGP Key 0x5D623D5D "Definitely a woman" - www.thespark.com/ Standard disclaimers apply to this post. Additionally, a Praxis Seizure or a Crusade isn't a peaceful transition of power. Honor thy Elders or not, Camarilla Princes don't give up a city easily, and all kinds of politicking, fighting, backstabbing, etc., goes in in such an "referendum." Furthermore, there are cards (Closed Session, Private Audience) to cover this idea of the decision being made behind closed doors to keep out the kind of influence Mr. Coupe alludes to. Not to mention the richness they add to the metagame. -- Pat Ricochet Soul Jar'rn Fool of Atlanta

If a vampire has his votes cancelled by Quentins power, tele vote counting, kindred coercion and the like....how far does that extend? Does it effect just his title? What about the oration he used? The vote card used to start the whole thing? The vote card you burned to push the vote? T

It also affects, for instance, the votes cast via Alamut with that vampire, the votes from Dread Gaze and similar effects. > What about the oration he used? All political action cards cast from hand are cast by a Methuselah, not a vampire. So Quentin (etc.) can't affect them. [ quoted text not captured ]

[ quoted text not captured ] Those as well. All the votes the vampire casts. [ quoted text not captured ]
