In my Brujah/Toreador deck, as simplistic as it seems, Fast Reaction.

Lesse,... gotta be Day Operations, in my book. Nothing like a huge bleed that
can't be blocked,... of course you can always re-direct it, but not in a
2-player game.

i think the most powerful card is probably misdirection.
it for me is the game winner

All it takes is a few WWEF or Rat's Warning to make people think twice
before using that.

I think for Jyhad that you need to look more at combos than at single
cards. For instance, Misdirection + (Govern the Unaligned +
Conditioning)*number of vampires you have is a really nasty combo, but
Misdirection + bleed for 1 with all your vampires is pointless.

Hi Ritchie,
I think the one of the best things about Jyhad is that if you
asked 40 players what the best card is, you would probably get at least
twenty different answers. For my part, I find Cloak the Gathering to be
the most usefull card in any of my decks.

Ya. I like that one too. But I have to say that wake with evenings
freshness is my favourite. Nothing like waking up Basilia when they think
they can bleed you at 0 stealth.:)

I would disagree. Misdirection, while useful and often game finishing, has
its drawbacks (the paid blood). I would say that the most powerful card by
far is FAME!!!!! This card causes so many problems it is unreal. Perhaps
it is the fact that not many Vulnerability cards are floating around in my
group, but with Fame you can be causing 3 blood loss to your prey almost
guaranteed if you're smart.

To me, the most powerful card has to be Wake with Evening Freshness.
Circumvents Misdirection, with other cards can Deflect(ion) or Telepathic
Misdirect(ion) a Day Operation bleed or a stealth bleed. This allows you
to do what you need to do on your turn, knowing that you will be able to
handle your preditor. It even works agains Freak Drive, Majesty, and Earth
Meld.
The most powerful card ever!!! Day operation. Has anyone consdered Day Op
Rapid Healing with Fame. Ventrue players how about that 9 point bleed. If
you cannt work it out for you self Govern the Unaligned, Conditioning,
Fame. Max bleed ( four card limit) 36 points. If any one cares to do it +1
bleeder, four Fames, Lap Top, Tasha Morgan, J. S. Simmons esquire, Govern
the Unaligned, Conditioning, Four spying missions, And that auspex
uncommon (3 bleed for the remainder of the game), day op(sorry for
including the fame damage for the same turn and the next turn)

Peace Peter,
Yes, Day Op is very powerful, but you could still Deflect the bleed. You cannot
stack Fames anymore, the DTR has ruled Fame to be a Unique Master card (better
than no change at all, though I still like my solution better). Day Op is also
a rare and it does send a minion to torpor, so it does have a heafty cost.
Why do you mention _four_ Fames and _four_ Spying Missions (sic)? Are you playing
with some silly Mt$-holdover four card limit? There are no card limits in Jyhad.
There do not need to be card limits in Jyhad (the individual cards are balanced,
unlike Mt$). Card limits make certain strategies (combat rush) unviable. If you
are using card limits, I encourage you to stop.

Aw come on - the most powerful card has *got* to be Fame. This
is the most degenerate broken card in the entire game, especially since
it is not unique.

It *is* unique. (as of DTR 4/18/95)

Actually it was ruled to be unique not all that long ago by the design
team. It's still pretty nasty, but not to the extent it was before. A
weenie with Fame and a buff dude with Talbot's Chainsaw still hurts
pretty bad though.

Personally I'm rather fond of the boon cards...not so much life boon as
major boon. The way I read that card's description is that you
theoretically could take a 1 bleed against your opponent and make him take
an obscene bleed for you. My only question about the cards worth is can
you use it in a two player game? Could you make a weenie attack on your
opponent bleed him for 1 and use your Major Boon to prevent it? If so that
would make for a very intresting tactic.

Hi FrobozzWiz,
Well, I don't belive you can play OOT masters in your own turn,
if you could this card would be a gamewinner....

As you can't play OoT masters on your own turn, Major Boon isn't very
useful in a 2 player game. In fact, the only way I could think of to use it
would be to use a Malkavian Madness Network to bleed him right after his own turn
and then play a boon. This would require that your opponent tap out, and that
you have both a MMN and the Boon (and don't need to play any other Masters next
turn)
