Minion (x) bleeds Methuselah (A) for one. Methuselah (B) plays Major Boon. No modifiers are played. Is the bleed considered succesful? If so, who was bled? Same action, but this time Methuselah (B) plays a Telepathic Counter, reducing the pool loss to zero. Is the bleed successful? Is the situation symetric when Methuselah (B) later uses the Major Boon to force Meth. (A) to take a bleed pool loss? Thanks Mathieu

Is the bleed considered succesful? If so, > who was bled? Meth A was bled. the action was successful, which is a condition for B to play Major boon. so A was bled, but B took the loss of pool. > Same action, but this time Methuselah (B) plays a Telepathic Counter, > reducing the pool loss to zero. Is the bleed successful? the bleed is succesful and cannot be reduced at this point. Remember, you take the LOSS of pool, and the acting minion has just bled Meth A. playing "telepathetic" counter now is illegal. playing any other reaction card is also illegal by now. the only thing that can be played is a bleed action modifier. (superior spying mission played at this point will work on meth A, i presume, but can this cancel the Boon ? better ask LSJ) > Is the situation symetric when Methuselah (B) later uses the Major Boon > to force Meth. (A) to take a bleed pool loss? B can force meth A to take the pool loss for him. the situation is quite the same. Action modifiers can be played to increase the bleed after or before B decides. > Thanks Mathieu you're welcome, l'ami reyda

B can only play TC when the target of the bleed is B. In general, however, a bleed of less than 1 is not a successful bleed. > Is the situation symetric when Methuselah (B) later uses the Major Boon > to force Meth. (A) to take a bleed pool loss? Yes. Changing who pays the pool doesn't change who gets bled. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. The Spying Mission will be "targeting" Meth A, yes. [ quoted text not captured ]
