If you take a vampire via Temptation (or any other temporary
acquisitional means), and then have them play The Eternal Mask (either
via them having advanced Serpentis or by acquiring it while you have
them), when the vampire returns to its original controller, can the
original controller burn The Eternal Mask and the chosen vampire?
Text of Eternal Mask:
+1 stealth action.
[ser] (D) Bleed at +1 bleed.
[SER] Put this card on this vampire and move a unique vampire from any
ash heap to your ready region with any amount of blood from this
acting vampire. The minion with this card cannot take actions, block,
play reaction cards or vote. You may burn this card and the chosen
vampire during any untap phase.
I am assuming the 'You" in the final sentence refers to the player of
the card, but I could be wrong.

"You" on an in-play card refers to the controller, in general.
Being a minion card, The Eternal Mask is controlled by the controller of the
minion it is on.
So, yes, the controller of the minion (who is the controller of the Eternal Mask
card) can burn it and the other minion during any untap phase.

Thanks, there goes that devious plan. :)

If you want to use this devious plan, you just have to make it
impossible for them to burn the Eternal Mask, which if I've understood
correctly is the case when the minion you brought into play via the
mask is no longer in play.
So... if you take control of a minion via temptation, and use that
minion to Eternal Mask a tupdog - the tupdog is burned at the end of
your minion phase, so the tempted minion's controller can no longer
burn the mask.
Of course, there's always a very good chance I've misunderstood :)
