Question: Can a vampire use Form of Mist(superior) to continue an already successful action? For example: Minion A Ambushes Minion B. The action is unblocked. Minion A plays Form of Mist. Combat starts over. Also, can Minion A continue to play additional Forms of Mist(superior) in the second combat? and third? Greg

[ quoted text not captured ] You cannot play the FoM in this situation. I use, for my authority, the rule that you cannot play a card to add stealth if that stealth is not required to overcome a block attempt being made at equal or greater intercept. However, if the action were blocked, a FoM could be played to begin another combat. - Robert ...................................................................... :The opinions expressed here are strictly my own delusional ramblings: :and do not reflect the opinions of The Walt Disney Company. : : : :Robert Goudie robert...@studio.disney.com: :LA Tourny Info -> http://www.cs.ucr.edu/~ezix/other/rg/vtourn_1.html: :....................................................................: :Da pony run, he jump he pitch. The "continue" text assumes an interuption (or block) of your attempted action. Robert -- [ quoted text not captured ]

For example, if a Bum's Rush is successful, you may play superior Form of Mist during that combat to continue the action, in which case a second combat may start (but the action can then be blocked). Note that if you complete the action again, you get all of its effects again. For example, if you complete Bum's Rush again, you would get an optional maneuver in the second combat. > For example: > Minion A Ambushes Minion B. > The action is unblocked. > Minion A plays Form of Mist. > Combat starts over. > > Also, can Minion A continue to play additional Forms of Mist(superior) in the > second combat? and third? Good point. I'll pass this along to the RT and see what the reason is for allowing uneeded stealth to be played in their prior ruling (or, hopefully, to get the ruling reversed to match what you have just said). Thanks for the suggestion. [ quoted text not captured ]
