The card is burned with no effect, but it is not replaced until the entire action is over (including the first combat resulting from card text or from blocking the action). "Do not replace until after combat" means: do not replace until a the end of the next combat or until the current action is concluded, whichever comes first. The long winded definition is required for multiple combat/action effects like superior Form of Mist, superior Psyche, Hidden Lurker, Fast Reaction, etc. If blocked, the acting minion does *not* get the optional maneuver from Bum's Rush, of course. -- ----- L. Rules question that came up last night in our group (well, it really didn't come up, b/c I think I was the only one arguing for it). Anyway here it is: Dre goes to Bum's Rush Normal. Ignatius intercepts the Bum's Rush. I thought that since the Bum's Rush was an unsuccesful action, the card is discarded, and has no effect. Therefore Dre's meth. can draw to replace it, and doesn't get the optional maneuver. However, I was overruled (not to big of a surprise since I'm the newbie of the group). Also, if it isn't too much trouble, when the reply appears, could you point me to some sort of rules quote that supports this. Thanks in advance -- Charles T.
