If someone plays a card, and one meth wants to play DI, and another wants to play Power of All (both library card cancelers), whose card play gets precedence? Is it: a) DI because it's a master card b) Power of All because it's a minion card c) clockwise around table from acting meth d) resolve simultaneously e) something I haven't listed here In the case of a,b, and c, I assume that then the other player who's card would play second, can't. My guess is C. (or E) best - chris -- Super Fun Cards www.superfuncards.com *NEW Website!* auct...@superfuncards.com

Salem

[ quoted text not captured ] i thought pred then prey then clockwise was only for blocking. acting then opposing then clockwise for combat clockwise for everything else? -- salem (replace 'hotmail' with 'gmail' to email)

Edited because I forgot to put LSJ in subject... [ quoted text not captured ]

LSJ

[ quoted text not captured ] Almost. If two or more players want to play a card or effect, the acting Methuselah plays first. At every stage, the acting player always has the opportunity to play the next card or effect. So after playing one effect, she may play another and another. Once she is finished, the opportunity passes to the defending Methuselah (in the cases of directed actions and combat), then to the rest of the Methuselahs in clockwise order from the acting Methuselah. [1.6.1.5] So if the card in play is played during a (D) action, then the target Methuselah has first chance to play. (The "combat" bit doesn't apply here, since Power of All isn't playable in combat, but if it were a question of two DI's, then the combatant would get first chance to cancel.)

Actually it is first prey then predator for blocking!
