Problem with Free Flight

Hi people, i choose to play a BB deck. And i hav ea problem with a card : Free Fight Card Text: Only usable before range is determined. [san] Tap this Blood Brother and any number of ready untapped members you control of this circle. Once each round before range is determined, or whenever your combatant leaves the ready region, you may choose one of these ready Blood Brothers to become the combatant instead (and combat continues). [SAN] As above, and each of these Blood Brothers gets an optional press this combat. i read a lot fo topic, but normaly you have to TAP the Blood Brother who plays the card. But if he blocks he is tapped. Can he plays the card? This problem create an other for me: Can a vampire Tap a vampire which is allready tapped ( by playing a card like "Jar the Soul" ? ( i think no , but i prefer ask ) ) Thank a lot

it's a combat card and it says "tap this blood brother and....". It does not say "tap.... TO". So, even if you are tapped, you can still play the card, as it is a combat card and it doesn't require you to tap to use the effect, but just to tap if you are untapped.

...of course, the "extra" blood brothers that you want to use and tap must be ready and untapped, by card text...

And concerning card like : Special Repport ? The vampire need to be tapped to play the card ( for me a no-tapped vampire can play it ) ?

great, thank. One more thing concerning the Sepcial Repport : If a vampire take an action at +1 stealth , can a Methuselah play sépcial repport and don't block ? ( because it said : Once this action you may burn 1 pool to give that vampire +1 intercept. ) Just to be untapped ? thank

special report says: "this vampire untaps and ATTEMPTS to block..." so, if the action is a 0 stealth one, then you are forced to attempt to block. if it is a +1 or more stealth action, then if you don't wish to burn a pool to give the vampire +1 intercept, then the vampire just untaps, attempts to block and fails to block, remaining untapped. You cannot play special report to untap a vampire, when your vampire cannot even try to block. For example, if you control Ira Rivers and he is tapped, you cannot play Special Report to untap him, while your prey performs a bleed action. As, Ira is not an eligible blocker for this kind of action. If Ira is untapped, you can play eagle's sight and then you have the option to Use Special Report if you need the intercept.
