Undead Persistence [Jyhad] Combat Discipline: Fortitude Optional Press and vampire will not go to torpor until combat ends, or 3 rounds of combat pass with no Methuselahs playing cards. Only usable when the vampire should go to torpor. (S) Prevent 2 damage. Suppose my Rufina Soledad has 2 blood, and she is whacked with 1 ag damage. To keep herself out of torpor, she plays basic Undead Persistence. So now she has been wounded, but cannot heal the wound since it is Ag, and also cannot go into torpor because of UP. Right? At this point, she burns 1 blood to heal each point of regular damage she takes, unless she runs out of blood, in which case she just shrugs off the damage, right? And for each point of ag she takes, she burns 1 blood to prevent destruction, unless she can't, in which case she is burned, right? All this stuff is pretty unclear, so please, LSJ, put it in the clarifications section. Thankyou! -davey!

(I notice you're using Mozilla to post: to get it not to wrap the lines of you post, as it did above, uncheck the "Wrap Long Lines" item in the "View" menu.) > So now she has been wounded, but cannot heal the wound since it is Ag, > and also > cannot go into torpor because of UP. Right? She's been wounded *because* she can't heal agg damage, right. > At this point, she burns 1 blood to heal each point of regular damage > she takes, > unless she runs out of blood, in which case she just shrugs off the > damage, right? Other people have complained about the length of the lists, so I try to keep them as short as I can. -- L. Scott Johnson (vte...@wizards.com) VTES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast.
