First question: 6.5.5. Diablerie If the victim was older (had a higher capacity) than the diablerist, the diablerist can be given a Discipline. His controller may go through her library, ash heap and hand to get a master Discipline card to put on the diablerist and then reshuffle her library or draw back up to her hand size, as necessary. This increases the diablerist's capacity by one, but does not automatically give the diablerist a blood to fill that new capacity. If all of the person's Master: Discipline cards are already in play on other vampires, do they get any use out of this feature of diablerie? Second Question: Masquerade Endangered Master: out-of-turn Only usable when a vampire hunts. Put this card on that vampire. That vampire does not gain blood from hunting this turn. During that vampire's next untap phase, burn this card instead of untapping the vampire. If you put that card on an infernal kindred, do you have to burn a pool to try to untap that minion to get rid of the Masquerade Endangered, or will it just go away during the untap phase? No. No Discipline card => no effect. > Second Question: > > Masquerade Endangered > Master: out-of-turn > Only usable when a vampire hunts. Put this card on that vampire. You burn the card instead of untapping him. "Infernal" has nothing to do with untapping. "Infernal" will re-tap the minion unless you burn a pool. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. >If all of the person's Master: Discipline cards are already in play on other >vampires, do they get any use out of this feature of diablerie? If all of your Master Discipline cards are already out (none left in library, ash heap, or hand), the only thing you can get out of this feature of diablerie is a free shuffle (of your library). >If you put that card on an infernal kindred, do you have to burn a pool to >try >to untap that minion to get rid of the Masquerade Endangered, or will it just >go away during the untap phase? Infernal minions still untap as normal during the untap phase. It's just that after they untap, they tap unless you pay a pool. So if you play a Masquerade Endangered on a tapped Infernal vampire, it will not untap (Masquerade Endangered is burned instead), and since the vampire is already tapped, it becomes pointless to pay the Infernal cost. If a Masquerade Endangered is on an untapped Infernal vampire (who Freak Driv'ed or used a Homonculus to untap), the Masquerade Endangered is burned (instead of untapping the untapped vampire) but you still have to pay a pool to deal with the Infernal aspect if you want to keep the minion untapped. Hope that is all clear. >Rob Sachs >Self-declared Prince of Naperville, IL Self-declared?
