Hi. Just wondering if this card is stackable? It only says that the vampire is no longer his original clan. And while I have your attention, how did the sect rule apply to changing of clans again? Clan Impersonation Type: Action Cost: 2 blood +1 stealth action. Choose a clan and put this card on the acting vampire. This vampire is considered to be of the chosen clan instead of his or her original clan (if any). This vampire can burn this card as an action. Rarity: AH:C2 CE:C

The Lasombra one applies, until it's burned then - if the Ventrue one is still there - that applies. The most recently played one takes precedence over the others. >It only says that the >vampire is no longer his original clan. And while I have your >attention, how did the sect rule apply to changing of clans again? If you change clan, you take on the default sect for that clan as your sect. Lucita (Independent) -> Clan Impersonation (Osebo) -> Lucita, Laibon, Osebo. Lucita (Laibon Osebo) burns the Clan Impersonation -> she changes to Lasombra -> Lucita (SABBAT). (The same would happen if she played a second Clan Impersonation to Lasombra without burning the first.) Because she's changed from Osebo to Lasombra, she takes on the default sect for Lasombra - even though she wasn't that sect originally. If Lucita is carrying a Writ of Acceptance in the above, her underlying sect changes as above, but the Writ applies on top. If she loses the Writ somehow, her underlying sect comes to the fore. So if she lost the Writ when she was an Osebo, she'd be Laibon. If she lost the Writ after she'd changed back to Lasombra, she'd be Sabbat. Playing Clan Impersonation (or any other clan changer) and staying the same clan *doesn't* affect your sect. So Lucita (Independent Lasombra) playing Clan Impersonation and choosing Lasombra gets the Clan Impersonation, but stays Independent. No clan change, therefore no sect change. -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D YOU ARE IN ERROR. EBD690ECD7A1FB457CA2 NO-ONE IS SCREAMING. 13D7E668C3695D623D5D THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.

(CI) then burns it. I would have said she would then return to her original card text (Lasombra Indie), ditto for the Writ examples. #2 Lucita is Lasombra Indie and CIs to Lasombra. I would have thought she then becomes Lasombra Sabbat (adopting the default of her new clan).

What about a magaji (or prince/primogen/archbishop etc), say Eze, goes Ventrue. What happens to his sect/title?

The Lasombra

[ quoted text not captured ] I thought the title was temporarily deactivated, and would be regained if he switched back to the appropriate sect for it? John Eno
