Examples : - Dom - no dom, FOR - DOM, no for Do we still put the 4 counters ? Does he still need 2 counters to get sup DOM and 4 to get FOR no matter what ? And Muaziz and her For friends... Now, really, isn't this piece of equipement a little TOO big ? The only drawback I can see is that it will be mucho contested. But seriously : - a Unique Laptop, not for weenie - gives Dom - Gives For For a cost of 1 !! Compare with the Hand of Conrad or Changeling Skin Mask, and tell me if you see a rise in power ? Not to mention that Dom and For may very well be the 2 most powerful disciplines in the game... The second drawback is that it takes time to gain the disciplines. In that time, the vampire can be torpored, the equipment can be stolen or burned... The third drawback, which is sometimes an advantage is that when it changes minions, it loses its counters. So you can't Heidelberg it to your other minions very efficiently, but at least it's not as cool when someone steals it. All this according to a legend in the Ravnos Clanbook. The cool thing about the Seal is that it gives you a bleed action, it doesn´t increase your permanent bleed, so you can safely have a superior Dive into Madness and the Seal for example, and still not be the target of pesky Justicar Retributions!

The seal of Veddartha appears in the Time of Judgment book : Lair of the Hidden... It is a sumerian clay tablet with cuneiform characters which read Veddartha (one of the best known Ventrue Antediluvian's aliases)... It gives the bearer the ability to speak/read sumerian and to gain 2 dots of Disciplines per year, up to Dominate 5 Fortitude 5 Presence 5 Potence 5 and it converts human blood into vitae...
