Current text for Cauldron of Blood:
[tha] Strike: <make a hand strike at> strength+2 damage.
[THA] Strike: <make a hand strike at> strength+4 damage.

LSJ explained in <
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.trading-
cards.jyhad/msg/d7ed0bb0f276b619> that the concept of "Strike: strength
damage" equating to a hand strike has confused some players, for
whatever reason. And so we move to "Strike: make a hand strike..." and
similar wordings, instead of the strength based explanation in the
rulebook.
In previous editions of the rules[0], it was made explicit that
strength-based strikes are hand strikes, BTW. And it still apparently
caused aggravation enough that LSJ changed how it's handled. (With no
actual changes caused to the game.)
[0] My Black Hand rulebook sat in front of me right now has it, for
example.
