Bajazet al-Nasir Ability: Once each combat, Bajazet can burn 1 blood to make damage from his hand strikes aggravated for the current round. (Blood Cursed) And Bang Nakh - Tiger's Claws The strike with this weapon is aggravated ? ( if he burn 1 blood of course ) And Someone can say me where in the rule , weapon strike with strengh is not equal to hang strike ? ( just where it is in the rule ) Thank Magus

The proper definition appears in the "Strike Effects" section of the quick reference guide (p. 34) and not in 6.4.5.1 where it belongs. -- - Gregory Stuart Pettigrew

A weapon strike is a strike with a weapon. This is just circular -- that is, the grammar handles it completely. But it is also reinforced in the rules: Quick Reference "hand strike" "weapon strikes are never hand strikes"

The proper definition appears It is adequately handled in the rules. 6.4.5. Strike Effects. Hand strike: When a minion strikes with hands at close range, he does an amount of damage equal to his strength to the opposing minion. That is, when it comes time to choose your strike, you may choose "hand strike" and get the effects described for that strike, or you might choose "Bang Nakh strike" and get the effects for that (note that the effects of that strike do not include "hand strike" as a constituent part). > in the "Strike Effects" section of the quick reference guide (p. 34) and > not in 6.4.5.1 where it belongs. Not also that 6.4.5 does not define a destroy weapon strike either, in your usage. Nor any other strike. Your usage seems problematic.

It makes little sense to have a well-defined Hand Strike but not use it in the rulebook. [ quoted text not captured ]

LSJ explained in <http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.trading- cards.jyhad/msg/d7ed0bb0f276b619> that the concept of "Strike: strength damage" equating to a hand strike has confused some players, for whatever reason. And so we move to "Strike: make a hand strike..." and similar wordings, instead of the strength based explanation in the rulebook. In previous editions of the rules[0], it was made explicit that strength-based strikes are hand strikes, BTW. And it still apparently caused aggravation enough that LSJ changed how it's handled. (With no actual changes caused to the game.) [0] My Black Hand rulebook sat in front of me right now has it, for example. -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D YOU ARE IN ERROR.
