This has probably been asked before but I'm not sure and it's not in the
R/C/E archive, it came up in a game last night.
Name: Seeds of Corruption
[AH]
Cardtype: Action
Cost: 2 blood
Discipline: Thaumaturgy
+1 stealth action.
[tha] (D) Put this card on a vampire controlled by your prey. If the vampire
is a Follower of Set, he or she burns 2 additional blood for each action he
or she performs; otherwise, he or she burns 1 additional blood for each
action he or she performs. The vampire with this card cannot use his or her
special abilities. Any vampire(s) may burn this card with two +1 stealth
actions.
[THA] As above, but the vampire burns 2 additional blood for each action;
Followers of Set burn 3 additional blood.
A vampire has a (SUP) Seeds of Corruption on it and no blood. The vampire
must hunt.
It was argued that the hunt action failed because the vampire couldn't pay
the two.
I ruled that the hunt was successful because SoC only makes you burn two
blood, it doesn't increase the cost of the action by two.
Also, another ruling I made that I'm sure is correct that I wanted to check.
A vampire burned outright, say, from taking 4 agg damage when it only has 2
blood, doesn't pass through torpor.
