Hello, Some question were posted on our mailling list and we would like official answer. 1)If i have a vampire of capacity 1 can i play Govern the Unaligned on him ? My answer would be yes, the blood not needed will simply be lost for the meth. It's right ? 2) Tremere Convocation said : «Vampires with basic Thaumaturgy may play combat cards requiring Thaumaturgy as if they had superior Thaumaturgy.» Is it only for the vampire of the player of the Tremere Convocation card or that apply for all the players vampire at the table ? 3) Can someone play multiple combat card like Drawing Out the Beast befor range is chosen ? Exemple : A player play 5 Drawing Out the Beast at superior and the oposing minion take 5 damages not preventable ? 4) Constanza Vinti (POT and CEL) is in combat. Can this situation happen : Befor range, he play Torn Signpost (set base damage at 3) Increased Strength (+2 damage on all strikes requiring Potence) The range is set to close. The vampire play Pushing the Limit (+3 damage) So he does 8 damages to the opposing minion. He play Blur for 2 additional strikes. First additional : Undead Strength (+2 damages) Second additional : Mighty Grapple (+1 damages) So, it's another 7 damages. It's all right ? And can he had play before range Fire in the Blood in conjonction with Increased Strength ? Thank's, -- Khaleph Alendis, High Priest of Maizerets VEKN Setite Prince of Beauport http://cdd.citeweb.net/khaleph/ Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

Any vampire with superior dominate (and a capacity above 1) could play superior GtU to move 3 blood to the 1-cap in your uncontrolled region, yes. > My answer would be yes, the blood not needed will simply be lost for > the meth. It's right ? The blood is not lost until the vampire enters the Ready Region, at which time excess blood drains off (as it always does). You'd still have some time in your influence phase to use your transfers to move some of that blood to your Pool before he enters the Ready Region. > 2) Tremere Convocation said : «Vampires with basic Thaumaturgy may play > combat cards requiring Thaumaturgy as if they had superior Thaumaturgy.» > > Is it only for the vampire of the player of the Tremere Convocation > card or that apply for all the players vampire at the table ? All vampires, since the cards doesn't restrict the effect to "your" vampires. Similarly, all Tremere at the table get +1 stealth when taking Thaumaturgy actions. > 3) Can someone play multiple combat card like Drawing Out the Beast > befor range is chosen ? > Exemple : A player play 5 Drawing Out the Beast at superior and the > oposing minion take 5 damages not preventable ? Assuming that neither of the first two strikes resulted in the burning or torporization of the opposing minion, yes. (Well, Constanza's a "she", but otherwise right). > And can he had play before range Fire in the Blood in conjonction with > Increased Strength ? Yes. So vampires in the game DO officially have genders! Although I doubt the game will ever have any cards that depend on gender (like in Rage where it became decently confusing), I was wondering if there are an official list as to who's what. I know it's silly and one's supposed to use common sense but, to bring up an old topic, I do always wonder about such vampires as Badger and Dancing Dana. And we all know how messed up some of those Tzimisce are! Halcyan 2

My group always seemed to get the vampire genders (to the point we could tell) exactly wrong, the males were she's, the females he's (as in she's bleeding, refering to Anvil, at which point several of us lol because the gender mixup happened again.) Finally one point: Koko. Cameron [ quoted text not captured ]
