LSJ, I am feeling a little embarassed to ask these questions but I want to be a hundred percent sure! Direct Intervention: If I DI a vote, the acting vampire which played the vote, cannot vote again the same turn? Right? Mask of Thousand Faces: An unblockable vampire A (thruogh Toreador Grandball) votes. No one blocks another vampire B playes Mask and votes instead of vampire A. For other Methusalehs vampires this means no second chance to block. Right? It means also vampire A which attempted the previous vote, cannot play now another vote. Right? Thanks Andreas Nusser andreas...@vekn.de www.vekn.de

Right? Wrong. The taint of No Repeat Actions applies on performing an action. An action which has been cancelled as played hasn't even started. >Mask of Thousand Faces: > >An unblockable vampire A (thruogh Toreador Grandball) votes. Assuming you've already given them a *first* chance to block, yes. (I believe you should still ask for block attempts, to clarify, even when they have to say no.) >It means also vampire A which attempted the previous vote, cannot play >now another vote. Right? No. That vampire did not perform the action, in that they were not the acting minion when it resolved. -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D EBD690ECD7A1FB457CA2 Hi! I'm Nancy Drew! Right? No, he can. The DI cancels the card play. The action never occurs. The restriction against taking another political action doesn't begin until the first political action reaches resolution. > Mask of Thousand Faces: > > An unblockable vampire A (thruogh Toreador Grandball) [calls a PA]. Google: "grand ball mask author:LSJ" > It means also vampire A which attempted the previous [Pol Action], cannot [attempt] > now another [PA]. Right? No. He wasn't the acting minion when the action resolved. He is free to attempt another political action. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
