Rules Questions: Anyone?

I have a few questions regarding the rules, if anyone would like to answer them. 1) In the section regarding Stealing Blood, it says if all blood counters are stolen from a vampire, then that vampire is burned. Yet, in the example given immediately after, Cassandra does not burn after she has all her blood stolen; she merely must go hunting. We've been assuming the vampire is burned, because the vampire has absolutely nothing left in him/her to continue living. 2) In the section regarding Combat Ends, we're unsure if the opposing minion can play a press to continue combat. For instance, if a minion plays Strike:Combat Ends, can the opposing minion play a press to continue combat? We've been assuming once combat ends, that's it. Presses, begin another round of combat, as opposed to an entirely new combat. Is this correct? 3) In a two-player game, what if both Methuselas are ousted at the same time? 4) Is Francois Villon the most powerful vampire in the game (Prince of Paris: Capacity 10, several powers, can steal up to 2 blood from any younger vampire as a +1 stealth directed action)?

You cannot burn a vampire by stealing all of its blood in the advanced (full) game. The rulebook has errata: Section 8.3, Special Combat Effects/Steal Blood The example should say that Cassandra starts the round with 4 blood (otherwise she would be burned by Eliza's strike). Section 21, Advanced combat/check damage In the advanced game, if a vampire steals more blood from a vampire than it has blood to give, do not burn the second vampire. Simply transfer all of its blood to the first vampire. > 2) In the section regarding Combat Ends, we're unsure if the > opposing minion can play a press to continue combat. You never get to the Press step. > We've been assuming once combat ends, that's it. Presses, begin > another round of combat, as opposed to an entirely new combat. Is > this correct? Well, I've got a friend who built a deck around him and Toreador Grand Balls, but it probably wouldn't work as well if he didn't somehow get an Info Highway, a Parthenon, a Francois, a Heidelburg and two Blood Dolls in his first 7 cards and 4 vamps. --- Liam Burke "Only a Malkavian would attack Cthulhu with laughing gas..." -overheard

There appears to be an error on the Jyhad version of Tragic Love Affair. The Jyhad version does not need a Toreador to play it, while the VTES version needs a Toreador. Please clarify. Thanks.
