Fellow Methusalehs: This recently came up in a game. Leonardo the Mortician "may move 1 blood from the blood bank to any ready vampire as a +1 stealth action". If the ready vampire is controlled by the same Methusaleh as Leonardo, who can block this action? If the ready vampire is controlled by someone across the table, who can block?? I would presume that this follows the same rules as rescuing a vampire from torpor, and so the answers would be: ** controlled by the same Methusaleh -- can only be blocked by that Methusaleh's prey and predator ** controlled by someone across the table -- can only be blocked by that Methusaleh across the table (i.e. controller of the vampire), and why would he or she want to do that?? Can someone confirm or deny this? TIA, Madman

Same Meth: Predator/Prey. Across the table: Target. > I would presume that this follows the same rules as rescuing a vampire > from torpor, and so the answers would be: > > ** controlled by the same Methusaleh -- can only be blocked by that > Methusaleh's prey and predator > > ** controlled by someone across the table -- can only be blocked by > that Methusaleh across the table (i.e. controller of the vampire), and > why would he or she want to do that?? > > Can someone confirm or deny this? Confirmed explicitly in 6.2.2.1 (Why block the (D) version? - Maybe you've got Triole's Revenge on you or are planning on using Jake Washington on your untap) -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. I don't understand this ruling, Leonardo's ability isn't a (D) action. Card text: Leonardo, Mortician [DS, FN] Cardtype: Ally Clan: Giovanni Cost: 1 pool Unique mortal with 2 life. 1 strength, 0 bleed. Leonardo may move 1 blood from the blood bank to any ready vampire as a +1 stealth action. Roger
