I suggest LSJ reprint the following cards in the next set: Charisma Jake Washington Twisted Forest Political Hunting Ground Femur of Toomler Corporate Hunting Ground Mind Rape Elemental Stoicism Martyr´s Resilience Relentless Pursuit Iron Heart Adaptation Beast Meld Wolf Claws Madmans Quill Shadow Twin Blanket of Night Shroud of Absence Arms of Abyss Eyes of the Night Entombment Mark V I also would like to see a 11 cap Lasombra in that set (maybe Montano, but he is Camarilla or?) and starters for Ventrue Antitribu and Lasombra. And in the set after that I would like to see more Independent vamps, Siegfried and Necross of Vancouver and maybe some Inconnu (Cret, Guilliame, Vlad Tepes, Mahatma, Rebekah etc). Praxis Seizure Glasgow, Stockholm, Paris, Athens, Berlin and Cairo should also be reprinted soon I think. He might also consider a Garou-cryptcard-set - more balanced than the Imbued though. Anyone else got some wishes?

[ quoted text not captured ] Assuming the same printers are being used, do we have any assurance as to an increase in quality control, specifically card cut and sorting issues? I know I'm only a single person, but my time of pre-purchasing 5 boxes of a premium release (or 2-3 of a 150 count release) are gone after the issues I had with Sabbat 3rd. And that makes me sad. Yea, of course, I got that when LSJ said it. My confusion was that his response seemed to suggest that there _could_ have been reprints (or different reprints, whatever) in Sword of Caine if the request had been made earlier and assuming the powers that be had looked kindly upon it. Since I had thought SoC was announced as a mini- expansion, one wouldn't expect there to be reprints of any kind. Therefore, it shouldn't matter when the thing went to the printer. Notice, the original poster's wish list did not specify which expansion he was talking about. Well he did say, "the next set". By inference, I would make the leap that we were obviously talking about, "the next set that has reprints". Fred

LSJ

[ quoted text not captured ] His list focused on the Sabbat-related cards along with some generic card, fretting over Montano's Camarillaness as a possible obstacle to his inclusion, and he wished for !Ven and Las starters, indicating that he had SoC in mind. He went on to give the related-to-things-that-aren't-Sabbat list as for "the set after that", lending further weight to the idea that he thinks "next set" is for Sabbat, implying the Sword of Caine expansion.

Even if SoC boosters have only 60 cards in them, there's really nothing stopping WW from printing Lasombra, !Nos, !Tor, and !Ventrue starters to take care of the other Sabbat Clans in need of Group 4 starter decks. Perhaps more to the point, are you just teasing us by responding to this thread at all (e.g. suggesting contacting the time fairy)? Or is it possible that reprint wish lists would actually influence the powers who decide on reprints, if submitted far enough in advance? :-) Josh wishes that the time fairy could go back and cause the damned never to have been reprinted (clap your hands if you believe!)

I suspect this is true of everyone, in fact.

I referred to the Sword of Caine-set, which I assumed was about the Sabbat. Too bad I was late with my list.

Dreams, War Ghoul, Direct Intervention, Freak Drive et al have been reprinted a lot in starters because LSJ knows people want them, so far as I can tell. Being able to look up a player-compiled list of wanted cards (for reprinting) in order to sell starters and/or boosters seems like something that any rational company would, at least, think about. Of course, it might not gel with their current plans. Like, if the next few sets are planned around the Sabbat/Black Hand, Anarchs, Indies and the Laibon[0], requests to reprint Parity Shift, Praxis Seizures and Second Tradition won't likely be met. [0] Plucked out of thin air, save for the Sabbat/Black Hand reference to Sword of Caine. -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D YOU ARE IN ERROR. So can someone explain whether the quality control issue has been adressed re: SoC? Cos I, for one, am at the point where if it is of the same quality as the previous sets that i will rather sell or give newbies cards out of my own collection. Rather than paying large amounts of forex to get decidedly sub standard quality cards, I would advise them to buy from potomac or lasmobra and get the older sets as at least they will get playable cards. and full sets. and cards that don't feel like they got ripped off the bottom of a cereal box.

Lots of wallpaper would be playable if you just gave it errata to upgrade it. But I hardly think these two effects are so unique or interesting that it's worth creating a bunch more cards that don't play the way it says on the card just to bring them into the game. Earthmeld can be countered by any S:CE-killer and you get more coverage anyway. And there are certainly other things to combo with Society of Leopold. It's not worth bothering to errata such thing. Typically, the thinking is that it's better to agitate for a different card to do that in preference to giving errata to wallpaper. But, OK... Fred
