Skidmark plays Computer Hacking. Can another vamp take over the action with Mask of 1,000 Faces? The CH and Mask would be replaced if one did, I assume. Another minion plays Computer Hacking, and the card is replaced. Can Skidmark take over the action with Mask of 1,000 Faces? If Skidmark takes over an action with Mask, is the Mask played before Skidmark is the acting minion, i.e. is the Mask replaced? Thanks for your help.

Ah, an opportunity to test my absorption of the Mask rules! :-) I would say that you cannot Mask Skidmark after his "ability" has had an effect, since that is an effect that has been used which could not have been used by any other vampire. So no, you cannot Mask to another vampire if Skidmark plays an action card (Computer Hacking) to start an action. However, if Skidmark takes a cardless bleed action, another vampire should be able to Mask to take that over if there haven't been any "not replaced" cards played yet. (The Mask is not played by Skidmark and when it is played, Skidmark is no longer the acting minion, so I think the Mask would be replaced as normal, and would not "taint" the action with use of Skidmark's ability. I could be wrong about this part, though.) > Another minion plays Computer Hacking, and the card is replaced. Can > Skidmark take over the action with Mask of 1,000 Faces? Not sure... replacing the Computer Hacking is the default thing to do, so it might not count as "an effect used that could not have been used if Skidmark were the acting minion". But on the other hand, it might count, since replacing the card is certainly an effect, and it could not have been done if Skidmark were the acting minion at the time. > If Skidmark takes over an action with Mask, is the Mask played before > Skidmark is the acting minion, i.e. is the Mask replaced? I would say no, because the Mask's effects take hold at the same time that the Mask would normally be replaced. Now that Skidmark is acting, you don't replace any cards that you play until the end of the action. (but, again I could be wrong here, since the Mask may count as being played before Skidmark was acting.) Josh only sort of helpful
