They all say: Reduce a bleed against you by 1. Aversion at VAL states bleeding you for 1. The argument I had was all about this minor text difference. the two players playing against me stated I had to be bleed first before I could play this card. So its not been ruled on by LSJ as of yet in this context and I need a ready reference for future games. Love VOL but I find the level of knowledge there still rather dismal. Raille

Hmm. Priestess of Sekhmet uses "bleeding" as well, and clearly allows future block attempts. See also Victorine Lafourcade: "When a vampire of capacity less than 5 is bleeding you, you may burn the Edge to cause the action to fail." > So its not been ruled on by LSJ as of yet in this context and I need a > ready reference for future games. Right, so: Aversion played at VAL can be followed by block attempts. It is possible to play Aversion at VAL before the action resolution step. During a bleed action, the acting minion is said to "be bleeding" the target Methuselah. That is, during the action, the statement: "The acting minion is bleeding the target Methuselah for 1" is true (assuming the bleed amount is 1, of course).
