Banner of Neutrality uses "is bleeding you", FWIW.

Hmm. Priestess of Sekhmet uses "bleeding" as well, and clearly allows future
block attempts.

Right, so: Aversion played at VAL can be followed by block attempts. It is
possible to play Aversion at VAL before the action resolution step.
During a bleed action, the acting minion is said to "be bleeding" the target
Methuselah. That is, during the action, the statement: "The acting minion is
bleeding the target Methuselah for 1" is true (assuming the bleed amount is 1,
of course).
