Hi, 1) Delaying Tactics should be played before or after Voter Captivation? 2) Delaying Tactics untaps the acting minion? 3) Can a reacting minion declare a strike after the acting ends combat as a strike? 4) Why is the blood from "steal X blood" strikes is gained before damage resolution? 5) If a minion has already a Disarm, can a second one be played on him to send him in torpor? 6) Can a Shambling Horde be removed from game, in order to play another Shambling Horde? 7) If a vampire is removed from Golconda, can another copy of that minion be influanced into the game? 8) Are multiple Increased Strength cumulative? 9) Why Reverend Blackwood does not deal one damage (according to his ability) with Theft of Vitae? 10) If a a pleed is reduced to zero (by TP Counter), does the acting player get the edge? 11) If a Spying Mission reduces the bleed to zero, does the acting player get the edge? 12) If a Spying Mission is burned (due to a successful bleed), can another be played to prevent the pool loss. If yes, is the original one burned. 13) Can Archon Investigation be played on a blled that goes above three due to burned Spying Missions? 14) Can Rotschreck be played after Determine Range but before Declaring Strikes, by making or already having aggravated hands? 15) If a Bone Spur is played at superior and a second round round of combat begins from a superior Immortal Grapple, when is the earliest opportunity to play Rotschreck. 16) If a minion has 0 hand damage and makes his hand damage aggravated, can he play Rotschreck? 17) If a minion converts aggravated damage to normal, can his opponent play rotschreck? 18) Psyche and TP Tracking cancel or queue Rotschreck's effect? 19) Psyche and TP Tracking cancel or queue Illusions of the Kindred effect? Thanks for your patience, Aris

Before Voter Captivation, since it must be played during a referendum, and Voter Captivation is played after the referendum. > 2) Delaying Tactics untaps the acting minion? Card text: "Untap the acting vampire". > 3) Can a reacting minion declare a strike after the acting ends combat > as a strike? Combat does not ended as a strike until the strike is resolved, which happens during the strike resolution. Both minions in combat, declare their respective strikes before they resolve. > 4) Why is the blood from "steal X blood" strikes is gained before > damage resolution? because "this effect occurs before the 'heal damage' step of damage resolution, so the stolen blood can be used to heal damage even if the damage is inflicted simultaneously." (6.4.5.) > 5) If a minion has already a Disarm, can a second one be played on him > to send him in torpor? No. Card text: "A vampire can have only 1 Disarm." > 6) Can a Shambling Horde be removed from game, in order to play > another Shambling Horde? Yes. > 7) If a vampire is removed from Golconda, can another copy of that > minion be influanced into the game? Yes. > 8) Are multiple Increased Strength cumulative? Yes. Cards are cumulative by default. > 9) Why Reverend Blackwood does not deal one damage (according to his > ability) with Theft of Vitae? Card text: "Damaging strikes made by Reverend Blackwood that require Thaumaturgy inflict +1 damage." > 10) If a a pleed is reduced to zero (by TP Counter), does the acting > player get the edge? No, since the bleed has not been successful. > 11) If a Spying Mission reduces the bleed to zero, does the acting > player get the edge? No, since the bleed has not been successful. Nota that a bleed is successful when 1 or more pool is lost. > 12) If a Spying Mission is burned (due to a successful bleed), can > another be played to prevent the pool loss. Yes. > If yes, is the original one burned. No. It's not burned since the bleed was not successful. > 13) Can Archon Investigation be played on a blled that goes above > three due to burned Spying Missions? No, since Archon Investigation is only usable when a minion is ATTEMPTING to bleed you for more than 3. A minion burning a Spying Mission to get +2 bleed is not attempting to bleed, but he or she has successfully bled. Note that you cannot burn Spying Mission unless the bleed is successful. > 14) Can Rotschreck be played after Determine Range but before > Declaring Strikes, by making or already having aggravated hands? No. "Rotschreck is played when the attempt to use aggravated damage is announced. If the attempt is in the form of a strike, Rotschreck is played during the strike announcement phase (before any damage prevention can be played). It can be played after the other strike is announced, however. No. Since there is no attempt to inflict aggravated damage. > 17) If a minion converts aggravated damage to normal, can his opponent > play rotschreck? Yes, because there is still an attempt to inflict aggravated damage. > 18) Psyche and TP Tracking cancel or queue Rotschreck's effect? Yes. "If combat is continued or a new combat started, then rest of the effect of Rotschreck is lost. [RTR 20020501] " > 19) Psyche and TP Tracking cancel or queue Illusions of the Kindred > effect? Psyche! does not. "There is no room to play Psyche! (superior) between the time Illusions of Kindred ends combat and when the new combat begins. So, when you play Illusions of Kindred, Psyche! cannot be played. [LSJ 19971003] " Telepathic Tracking "cancels" the IoTK new combat. http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&selm=3F1E788D.1080009%40white-wolf.com Greetings, Damnans

For a handy resourse, you might want to check out the latest official card texts: http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/Cardlist.html also, the FAQ maintained by TheLasombra might be handy: www.thelasombra.com >1) Delaying Tactics should be played before or after Voter >Captivation? Before. After the referendum is not during a referendum, which is required by DT. >2) Delaying Tactics untaps the acting minion? Yes. Card text. >3) Can a reacting minion declare a strike after the acting ends combat >as a strike? Acting minion CHOOSES strike, then defending minion, THEN you resolve the strikes. you choose sequentially, resolve simultaneously (in order of: combat ends, dodge, first strike, normal strikes) >4) Why is the blood from "steal X blood" strikes is gained before >damage resolution? you apply the stealing at the same time you apply the damage. then, afterwards, you heal the damage by burning blood, etc. >5) If a minion has already a Disarm, can a second one be played on him >to send him in torpor? no, card text. >6) Can a Shambling Horde be removed from game, in order to play >another Shambling Horde? if the one to be removed from the game is in your ash heap, sure. >7) If a vampire is removed from Golconda, can another copy of that >minion be influanced into the game? Yes. same with burned vampires. >8) Are multiple Increased Strength cumulative? yes. >9) Why Reverend Blackwood does not deal one damage (according to his >ability) with Theft of Vitae? his latest card text clarifies an earlier ruling: you can't add damage to a strike that's not doing damage. Rowan Ring with Lucky Blow does not deal any damage, for example. >10) If a a pleed is reduced to zero (by TP Counter), does the acting >player get the edge? no. >11) If a Spying Mission reduces the bleed to zero, does the acting >player get the edge? no. >12) If a Spying Mission is burned (due to a successful bleed), can >another be played to prevent the pool loss. no. you can play a second one _just before_ the first one would be burned. then the bleed wouldn't be successful anymore, so the first one would not burn. > If yes, is the original >one burned. moot. >13) Can Archon Investigation be played on a blled that goes above >three due to burned Spying Missions? no. >14) Can Rotschreck be played after Determine Range but before >Declaring Strikes, by making or already having aggravated hands? no. you must declare the strike that is agg. but you do play Rotschreck before you _resolve_ the strike. >15) If a Bone Spur is played at superior and a second round round of >combat begins from a superior Immortal Grapple, when is the earliest >opportunity to play Rotschreck. as soon as you declare 'my strike is aggravated hands' in the choose strike step. >16) If a minion has 0 hand damage and makes his hand damage >aggravated, can he play Rotschreck? no. he will not be attempting to inflict aggravated damage, which rotschrek requires by card text. >17) If a minion converts aggravated damage to normal, can his opponent >play rotschreck? yes. the damage is still aggravated. it would just be handled as if it were normal by the converting minion. but as rotschrek ends combat before you get to there, it doesn't matter anyway. >18) Psyche and TP Tracking cancel or queue Rotschreck's effect? cancel. >19) Psyche and TP Tracking cancel or queue Illusions of the Kindred >effect? psyche cannot be played in response to Illusions. If there is already a combat queued (which illusions does) you cannot play a card to add another combat to the queue (psyche). TP Tracking cancels the Illusions. no problems. salem domain:canberra http://www.geocities.com/salem_christ.geo/vtes.htm
