1)If I get control of an untapped ally via Far Mastery or similar, can he act immediately? 2)If I play Blood of Acid, is the opposing minion hit back only by the damage he deals with strikes, or by the environmental damage too? 3)Can I wait to play Rotschreck 'till my opponent plays Strike: Combat Ends, or I have to play it first. Can you explain (again, since I'm still not catching the text) how it works exactly? Thanx

"he or she" (card text) does not inflict environmental damage. >3)Can I wait to play Rotschreck 'till my opponent plays Strike: Combat Ends, >or I have to play it first. It depends on the ordering of the effects. You play Rotschreck when an attempt to strike with aggravated damage is declared which must be effective at the current range. If you're the defending minion, this may well be after your opponent declares their strike as S:CE. >Can you explain (again, since I'm still not catching the text) how it works >exactly? A minion (A) attempts a strike with aggravated damage. (Watch the rulings for the fact that it has to be effective at the current range, however.) Play Rotschreck. Combat Ends. Opposing vampire (B) goes to torpor. Put Rotschreck on (B) in torpor. Follow card text regarding their next untap phase. -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D Close your eyes so you don't feel them EBD690ECD7A1F They don't need to see you cry B457CA213D7E6 I can't promise I will heal you, but if you want to I will try 68C3695D623D5D

Correct (meaning that the environmental damage doesn't "hit back"). > >3)Can I wait to play Rotschreck 'till my opponent plays Strike: Combat Ends, > >or I have to play it first. > > It depends on the ordering of the effects. You may play Rotschreck after both minions have chosen their strikes, regardless of which one is the strike which "triggers" the Rotschreck.
