Can you play Infernal Pursuit at superior at any time during combat? 1) You're acting. You declare a card strike and draw up Infernal Pursuit. Can you play it after you declare strikes but before your opponent does? (You're digging for Psyche!) [Yes?] 2) You draw it up after playing a damage prevention card. Can you play it digging for another DP card? [Yes?] 3) You're reacting. Your opponent plays Illusions of the Kindred. Can you play it digging for a Direct Intervention? [No?] 4) You just Amaranthed your opponent and draw up Infernal Pursuit. Can you play it and hope for a Ritual of the Bitter Rose? [Yes?] Thanks.

You can't play it "as" IotK is played. By the time you play it, IotK will have been played, which means it is too late to DI the IotK. > 4) You just Amaranthed your opponent and draw up Infernal Pursuit.
