Has anyone tried using the Archon on the latest version of Numbers on Mac? Any performance issues? Peteo

[ quoted text not captured ] Doesn't Archon use Excel's macros quite a bit? I would imagine that it wouldn't work at all on Numbers. Would love to be proved wrong, though. Archon is one of the few Windows programs I have need of nowadays, a way of running it on OS X (or Linux) would be very welcome. //Petri

[ quoted text not captured ] Apart from using MS Excel for Mac you mean? I've been using the Archon on Mac OS X for years now... ;-) Emiliano PS When I first tried it in Numbers, the Archon wouldn't even open. Then the trial version of iWork expired and I had no means of trying again...

[ quoted text not captured ] Ok, good to know. I tried running it in OpenOffice at some point, and while it opened ok it would not update any of the score calculations -- I assumed the problem was the heavy use of Excel-specific stuff. I'll have to take another look at it sometime :) Emiliano: yeah, MS Office for OS X is of course an option ;). It's just that it costs a bit, and I'm at loathe to buy the Office package just to be able to run Archon... //Petri
