A few questions: Society of Leopold: Can a Vampire with Society of Leopold and 0 blood choose to burn one blood (with no effect) or is the Vampire automatically burned? Antoinette DuChamp: Does she have to pay an extra blood for Celerity cards that grant extra-strikes? Or is it just strike cards (like Fast-Hands? Anything else?). Hidden Lurker: Can you play Hidden Lurker after playing a Change of Target? Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/

Just strike cards, for example any Strike: Dodge that requires celerity. > Hidden Lurker: > Can you play Hidden Lurker after playing a Change of Target? No. Hidden Lurker requires that a combat occur between an acting minion and defending minion before it can be played. Change of Target cancels the action and the combat, so no combat occurs. See the online card texts here: http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/Checklist_VTES.html Change of Target [Jyhad, V:TES] Cardtype: Action modifier Only usable when this acting minion is blocked. Untap the acting {minion, do not tap the blocking minion}, and cancel the current action and combat. If you do a second action with this minion this turn, it cannot be the same action Hidden Lurker [Jyhad, V:TES, SW] Cardtype: Action Modifier Discipline: Obfuscate Usable only by an untapped vampire other than the acting minion after the acting minion is blocked and combat is over. Tap this vampire. This vampire now enters combat with the blocking minion. The first round of combat, the blocking minion cannot use any strikes (not even the default hand strike). (S) As above, but with an optional press. Carpe Noctem. Lasombra http://lasombra.tripod.com http://legbiter.tripod.com http://vekn_clans.tripod.com [ quoted text not captured ]

Correct. You must do one or the other. Failing to burn a blood doesn't qualify as burning a blood. > > Antoinette DuChamp: > > Does she have to pay an extra blood for Celerity cards that grant > > extra-strikes? > > No. Correct. > > Or is it just strike cards (like Fast-Hands? It actually requires combat between the acting minion and a blodking minion. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) VTES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
