Actually two questions: If Nu the Pillar Clan Impersonates to Blood Brother, can Angelo react with Gestalt and use all of Nu's disciplines in that combat? If two Aabbt Kindred each Clan Impersonate to Blood Brother, are they considered to be members of the same "Aabbt Kindred" circle, or are they in the "Aabbt Kindred A" circle and "Aabbt Kindred B" circle (for purposes of Angelo playing sanguinus cards)?

Nu is not yet a Blood Brother until the CI is successful, and from your question, when you say "that" combat, I assume you mean that Angelo is blocking the CI. Second, if Nu was already a blood brother, and took a different action, then Angelo reacted with Gestalt and chose Nu as one of the X blood brothers, then Nu would have to burn a blood or else the card has no effect. I believe that this card gives the chosen BB the *choice* of either burning a blood or having no effect, therefore Nu's controller would obviously refuse. > If two Aabbt Kindred each Clan Impersonate to Blood Brother, are they > considered to be members of the same "Aabbt Kindred" circle, or are they > in the "Aabbt Kindred A" circle and "Aabbt Kindred B" circle (for > purposes of Angelo playing sanguinus cards)? I don't know for sure if this has been answered explicitly, but I'm 99% sure that it's different circles. The "Circle of One" formed by a vampire without a circle designation does not have a name and should only include the individual vampire, not any other vampires with the same name.

Unless Circle is specified, each instance of a Circle is considered unique. DaveZ Atom Weaver

Assuming Nu has the blood to burn for Gestalt, right. Not that even if Nu were controlled by another player, he'd still have to burn the blood if he were chosen for Gestalt (card text: "must"). > > If two Aabbt Kindred each Clan Impersonate to Blood Brother, are they > > considered to be members of the same "Aabbt Kindred" circle, or are they > > in the "Aabbt Kindred A" circle and "Aabbt Kindred B" circle (for > > purposes of Angelo playing sanguinus cards)? > > The latter. I meant if you controlled both of them, and your own Nu was already a Blood Brother, and this was a later action.

But Gestalt says "Blood Brothers you control". So you can't choose "Nu, the Blood Brother" (or any other legitimate Blood Brother) as part of the Gestalt if he's controlled by someone else.

"Choose X ready Blood Brothers you control who belong to the same circle as this reacting vampire (including this vampire). Each chosen vampire must burn a blood, or this card has no effect." I assume Angelo's special doesn't somehow get around the "X ready Blood Brothers you control" requirement. Matt Morgan

If you *could* do that, then I guess "must" means he'd have to burn the blood. I had thought that if you were given a choice of burn a blood *or* do something else, you were free to do the something else, but I guess that in the case of Gestalt, it does read differently from other cards like Society of Leopold.
