Tapped minions can fight back when attacked though (this isn't M:tG). >(Main reason for this question was I got my butt whipped by a T's >Chainsaw after all my minions went into torpor. On the Talbot's Chainsaw card, it says that it can be used for a (D) action to a methuslah's minion. How does that work? Can you directly attack a minion? does it have to be an untapped minion? There is similar writing on Bum's Rush, but it says that you get an optional maneuver. Would the Direct action start a combat, even though it has a +1 stealth? and would it cause combat with a tapped minion? (Main reason for this question was I got my butt whipped by a T's Chainsaw after all my minions went into torpor. The owner said that he could attack the tapped minions, which led to them not being able to defend. so several of my vamps ended up in the torpor pile) thanks in advance trevor

If not blocked, the target minion is engaged in combat, whether she was tapped or not. If she wasn't tapped, leave her untapped. If she was tapped, you certainly may defend as per normal combat. Combat says nothing about the tapped state of a minion. You got whipped because your opponent was cheating. L. Scott
