I am working on a little hobby project where I try to classify the different library cards. I have found that master cards are the must subtle to classify. Maybe you can help me out. Take for example: (1) Antediluvian Awakening. It is labeled "Unique Master". Is this an ordinary master card which happens to be unique or is it conceptually different from an ordinary master card? (2) City Gangrel Connections. It is labeled "Unique Master Location". Is this an ordinary master: location which happens to be unique or is it conceptually different from an ordinary master: location card? In trying to classify the master cards I have come up with: Master (unique or non-unique) Master: dicipline (includes skill) Master: location (unique or non-unique) Master: out-of-turn Any comments appriciated. Thanks. -- Frederik Vindum Jensen

[ quoted text not captured ] FWIW, I would agree that "unique" is just a modifier; it doesn't create a conceptually different type from the base type. My own classification system matches yours except that I don't separate out the locations from the "plain" master cards. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
