what happens when a mega RTI bleed gets deflected so that you are no longer bleeding your prey? does the big bleed/burn the vampire still apply? p.s. thanks for the bum's replace answers - i agree, but i'd never seen it clarified. Yes. If I bled my prey and got bounced with any bleed card, it would still apply. Only real thing to watch out for are any bleed bonuses which apply if your prey controls a vampire of a certain clan because they actually now apply if the Methuselah you bleed controls a member of that clan. (So if your prey controls a ready vampire of Clan X and your vampire gets that bonus, you don't get it if your prey bounces you to his prey who doesn't control a member of clan X). -- James Coupe (remove your inhibitions to reply) If I jumped I should not see the stones rise up to meet me, the fog would hide them from me. The pain would be sharp and sudden as she said. The fall would break my neck. It would not be slow, like drowning. It would soon be over.

Yes. The "Bleed your prey" part is only a restriction on who you can target with the bleed when it is announced. This text is necessary because of the ruling on the (D) symbol (the symbol somehow allowing an action to be directed at any player). Similarly, a Night Moves can be deflected to a player who is not your Predator or Prey. -- L. Scott Johnson (vte...@wizards.com) Official VtES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast. If the vampire's text gives you +x if your prey controls a ready vampire of Clan X, then your prey still controls that Clan X member, even if your not bleeding him. Brian McGee

[ quoted text not captured ] Because of official errata. All those clan-specific bleed bonuses are errata'ed to be active when "the methuselah being bleed controls a ready ..." [ quoted text not captured ]
