After what I saw in the final: Specialization is the key. Convert handjam (mastercard or Embrace, whatever comes first) into pool. Didn't get momentum in the final. Probably due to seating as pred to Anthonys pinks allies (Speed-Ghoul) and grandprey being Stefan Ferenci with partially same deck (at least some Vamps and the Carnival). At least Stefan contested 1 Vamp and (accidently?) the Carnival one time during the final IIRC. Kamel didn't manage to talk himself out of this. Although always trying. Nice to watch though. Rather than play the deck that I had planed to play in Sunday's championship, I wrote ATTONEMENT on the decklist from the qualifier and played this deck again Sunday. If my first round would have had ten extra seconds I would have won that game and made it to the EC finals (as well?). Jay Kristoff; always a bridesmade, never a bride.

Equipment: Leather Jacket *pshhh* *hooooh* *pshh* *hooooh* ---------------------- Acknolegments: The Star Wars theme of Setites ("Sithites") using Revelation of the Sire on Caitiff ("I am your father."), and then Corrupting vamps to the Dark Side was mine. I've had it for a long time. However, Legbiter's deck "The Were-theres of Young Sorrow" at http://legbiter.tripod.com/decks/weretheres.htm showed me a *fun* way to build a Star Wars mass corruption deck. Not just a cheesy one-joke wonder, as mechanical and predictable as a 1-cap Computer Hacking deck. So thank him for the Change of Target + Venenation and the Revelation of Desire tech. Observations from my "beta-test": I have tested this deck, as it now stands, twice. I lost. But with exiting, cliffhanger-style end games, which could have gone either way. Not crushing defeats. Mask of a Thousand Faces was a poor substitute for Change of Target, which I simply don't own enough of. And I need more Revelations of Desire. I did not get a chance to play a single Ecstasy. In both games, I faced bounced, responsible zero-stealth bleeds for five or six. No bleeds for one. Gah! The Revelation of the Sire + Caitiffs tech depends way way too much on a good crypt shuffle. Fully Setite crypt and Embraces would be the way to go. Unfortunately, it would dilute the main joke. Wakes would be a good addition. And more combat and/or stealth. This deck suffers from a typical Setite problem: crushing offense, but feeble defense. Ezekiel looks *exactly* like Anakin Skywaker. And ten points for the fashion sense of Count Ormonde. In the movies, the Sith were combat monsters. My guys are anything but. I can't see a way to fix this. :-) [ quoted text not captured ]
