Hello, got some questions. Where do you put cards that are out of play? Are other Methuselahs allowed to look at these cards once they are out of play? Cards in the ash heap is public info, but cards that are out of play are not in the ash heap (and also no longer affect any part of the game). How do people represent things like anarchs? If you use the card Go Anarch do you still put an anarch counter on the vampire to be extra clear that a vampire is anarch? Archie

Cards that are out of play are public information, and thus there is no reason for other methuselahs not being able to check them. > How do people represent things like anarchs? I am not sure how or why they would be public information. They're not even in the game. I should be able to put them in my shoe if I want. The only time that would matter though is if someone knew the contents of someone's deck and was trying to remember if a certain card has come up or not. Or maybe for trying to remember if an 'only playable once per game' card that got removed from the game had in fact been played. >> How do people represent things like anarchs? I hope you're not recursing the Go Anarch cards, as they actually go on the vampire and thus are not in the ash heap to be recursed (unless I am mis interpreting your use of the word 'recurse'). For anarch counters I use the combined anarch counter/corruption counter marker cards that came with some support kits of some kind a while back (for things like Anarch Convert, Seattle Committee, etc). -- salem (replace 'hotmail' with 'gmail' to email)

Thanks for all input from everyone. Archie

[ quoted text not captured ] Yeah, but to get those anarch counters (particularly if you play a decent number of anarchs in a deck) is borderline impossible. There are other options I've seen for that sort of thing: #1 Printing some text onto an overhead projector sheet, cutting it to fit so you can stick it in the sleeve with the vampire. #2 Keep more than one type of pool counter with you and substitute the second set as your anarch or corruption counters There are two kinds of "out of play". There is "removed from the game" and "Descent into Darkness" kinds. The removed I just stick in a separate pile from the ashheap. The DiD type ones get turned face down.

[ quoted text not captured ] And CONTESTED cards too... (here we go, another 3000 post thread...). best - chris

[ quoted text not captured ] He he. No thanks. But contested cards I merely see as flipped over (in the ready region). Same goes for cards like Descent into Darkness. My questions are more of a "how does your play area look when you play" type rather then rules type. Archie
